Roxann is a Canadian-American scientist at Dynamicure in the biotechnology field, working to develop antibody based therapeutics against COVID-19 and cancer. She was the recipient of both the Mitacs Globalink and Accelerate awards during her graduate studies in Canada, collaborating with teams in France and California on breast cancer therapeutics. Her career has focused on developing immunotherapies using advanced technologies across a range of academic and industrial settings. Her work has been funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Science Research and she collaborated with DistributedBio known for their Centivax technology and featured in the Netflix documentary “Pandemic”. In Canada, she worked with the New Brunswick provincial government to put in place safety measures at the airport to mitigate COVID-19. She is also an expert for the federally funded Canadian COVID-19 fact checking platform (https://www.covid19facts.ca/).
