Kasia Horodynska is an architect and social activist. After graduating her architecture study at the Technical University of Delft she was working as an architect in several companies. For many years she is cooperating on projects for sustainable architecture, biodiversity and ecological education. She is author of the Polish guide to preserve seeds from your own garden. She was working on a project for the preservation of traditional regional buildings in the rural area in the south-east of Poland and the transition of these buildings into sustainable houses without losing their regional values and design. She is initiator of Urban Hedera, which mission is to stimulate green facades in the city to reduce the negative effects of climate change and pollution.
