Linda Zardo is a postdoctoral researcher at the IUAV University of Venice. She graduated from the IUAV in Venice as an architect and undertook a PhD in environmental engineering in Trento, exploring the connections between ecosystem services and urban planning. From 2016 to 2020 she worked as an environmental expert for the United Nations with projects in Ethiopia, Malawi, Madagascar, Mozambique, Comoros, Zambia and the wider SADC region. She is part of the UN-Habitat Resilience Unit based in Nairobi and the Sub-regional Technical Centre for Disaster Risk Management in Southern Africa.
